Well I'm not sure what kind of blog would be best suited for you. I haven't posted my chickens in mine for awhile now, but I do post about my gardening and add tips. I also post a bit about my quilting projects and any building projects and plans we have to change over our empty acre we bought into a function piece of land.
However, I was hired to start writing a column in a newsletter about food. They want me to be their gardening expert on organics and natural growing! So my blog will be featuring that newsletter soon as well.
I don't blog .... too old, too techno challenged. BUT, I love following Judy Laquidara's blog. She is a BYC member (kyquilter) from Missouri. She is also a quilt book author. I swear she is a Martha Stewart clone, except she is hillarious. Here is her blog: http://www.patchworktimes.com/
She gives away free quilt patterns, recipes, and has a "quilt an hour a day," section. I love her blog.
Oh yeah, she talks about her 10 chickens frequently .... too funny.
