There must be a pecking order....somewhere! Maybe they are trying to figure it out?

I don’t know. My cockerel would get upset whenever the girls pecked each other, and my top girl was crazy, now they just do whatever they want I guess. 3/5 of my chickens aren’t quite right in the head, so I don’t know how well a pecking order would work. There must be a pecking order....somewhere! @Ihavesomechickens I have a chicken name Tootie Frutie who's been a bit of a butt since she was a baby too so I understand lol. I was just thinking if she was away from the others it might lower her in the pecking order when she returns and give you a chance to find out a good way to calm her down.
I fear the day my Tootie Frutie becomes broody.
Well my cockerel is, special. My BO is, also special. And my top EE is batpoop insane. The only two that aren’t special didn’t like the pecking order either."Aren't quite right in the head"![]()
Mine are sweet to me, is agree though, food hogs. They are also super mean to the flock that I'm intragating. I want to breed one with my light Brahma Probobly cockerel someday. I think that would be cute.I have a buff Orpington, though I wouldn’t call myself a BO lover. My PIG, aka my buff Orpington, is a JERK, cough cough. She jumped into the nesting box while my EE was trying to lay an egg, and started to kick all the hay out from under her. JERK.
