Ok I am on the next to the last step of makeing a temporary cage for my button quail. Its 1/2 inch coated wire, Do I make a bottom or do I leave the bottom open to sit in a container of bedding??

With Buttons I would put them on bedding

Ok thank you verymuch...I wish I would have been able to find dark green zip ties , the nice forest green wire is pretty but the white zip ties kinda ruin it.
