Okay - two things:

First, is Lacey eating Spaghetti-Os?

Second:

Cimarron - you named your brahma Osama!?! No no no.... we can do better than that!

How about Mamapajama? or Nodrama?

I simply ADORE that rooster.

How gorgeous is he!

I tried the Mac & Cheese and got the stink-eye from my birds. They love oatmeal with applesauce and vanilla yogurt though. Last night I threw them a handful of Cheerios and they went nuts. I guess they're breakfast food eaters!

Hey thanks everybody. Imagine if we had two roosters...I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Osama Buff Brahma is just a silly play on words. It was also "Obama" for like a day for the same reason. My house mate calls the brahma "Oprah". I think the brahma is still looking for her real name...any ideas?

Pipi looks rooish to me too. Betty (above) didn't get her big red comb until she was about to start laying, when she was around 25 weeks old. Before that it was barely noticeable and was no where near red. And her wattles were very small.

I had one I thought was going to be a Roo until I saw in a nest box one day laying an egg. She was the first to lay. She started getting a comb and wattles well before the others.

Silver Wyandottes are a gorgeous rooster.

Pipi (the Australorp) has the sweetest girlie-eyes, but who knows. The comb and wattles were hangin' out right from the start. I will post results in a few weeks when mother nature sorts 'em out.
