Hello out there! Whether you have guinea pigs now, or before, or never, I need some help from you.
I have two young-ish sows (intact - not spayed) One is 4 months, the other closer to 6 mo. The older one (Clover) is dominant. She will keep the younger sow (Cocoa Puff, or just Cocoa) out of whatever hidey she’s in at the time. This isn’t what concerns me - I understand that that’s a dominance behavior.
We recently transitioned them to a different cage.

This seems to be when the behavior started. Clover, whenever she see Cocoa, will chase after her. She will “threaten her” seemingly nip her rear - though I don’t think there’s any real nipping. It’s more of a gesture.
She’s just being a grump. Is it from the stress of moving?

It’s not necessarily a big problem.
But I’m wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience.

I think they meant separate cages where they can each have their own "territories" and not hurt/stress each other out.
Guess I'm a little late to this thread. Has the problem been solved?
