We area homeschool family here! I've been doing it for years, and really enjoy it! My hobbies are horseback riding and art! I am way more into horses tho lol. I'll ride either english, western, or bareback, but I mostly do barrel racing. My mare and I ended up getting Grand Reserve Champion this last year. Who knows if we will try again this year, shes been lame for no reason for months... well obviously for some reason. We just cant find it. Shes dead lame on the left front with no swelling or sign of anything. We did x rays and flexion tests and all sorts of stuff at the vet.(we are having a re-check with the vet this week). The vet hasnt been able to find anything and neither has the farrier. I also have bad tendonitis but we are working through our issues together! Homeschooling is nice cuz we can work around these obstacles without issues.

Oh my goodness, I’m so excited we started a homeschool thread. Hi everyone!!! It’s so nice to meet you all!! I didn’t know there were so many homeschoolers on BYC. Ok I’ll introduce myself now:

How long have you been homeschooling?
I think a little over 7 years now.

What grade are you in?
9th.

Do you enjoy homeschooling?
I absolutely love homeschooling. The only thing that’s hard about homeschooling is the lack of socialization I get. It’s hard to make friends too. But other than that, it’s amazing.

What are your hobbies?
I like to do photography and I also play the ukulele and guitar. Hiking is definitely a favorite too, and in the summer kayaking.

Also, I read earlier that some people in the thread are hoping to be vets when they’re older, I am too! I plan on being an exotic animal vet.

Anyway, so nice to meet you all!

Wow we are so alike, we would be best friends in real life!!
