Calling all horse people...

To me, just "flashy" implies simply "lotsa chrome" i.e. extensive white on legs/head and possibly a bright color.

"Flashy mover" means the seller thinks the horse has extra-much of whatever kind of movement that horse is supposed to show in the ring, be it long daisycutter mvmt or high-stepping or big boingy or whatever.

"Flashy jumper" means either "very high and sharp with knees and forelegs" or "really cracks his back over the jump" or both.

JME,

Pat

For me, flashy can describe color, movement, and presence.

Solid base coat, large blaze, 4 knee-high stockings:

Extra-ordinary movement:

To me, all of these horses are very Flashy!

Welsummerchicks, Quaterback is a goreous horse, alot of fluid movements on him on several videos however ONE show he did show a sight limp that was obvious. Not sure what happened there, either he was sore or twisted his shoulder or front leg. I love watching this horse and it looks like FUN!

Bantamlover, your pinto is not flashy, he is LOUD LOL! I love his color and his blue eyes! Well put together on color matching and he is sure eye catching!

I don't know about that. I've never seen him look the least bit off.

I'll check around and see if he got hurt/retired/laid up, otherwise I'd assume he just stepped on a banana peel.

Fresh cooled semen is available in Europe, I don't know if it's available here. Oh yes. Judy Yancey at Yancey farms has Quaterback semen.

Yeah, I googled him (Quarterback) yesterday. I forget where, but someone in FL is importing semen from europe, and re-selling it here. They said his availability this year would be "limited" and his stud fee is only $950!!!

If I wasn't already committed, I'd maybe breed my Andalusian cross mare to him. Maybe next year.

You have to click on fees and forms, and then on "price perinsemination dose" to find their fees. Don't know why they don't just list them with the stallion's page...

I'm loving Agentinus though... For some reason this video cuts off, but there are some nice shots of him at liberty in the first half.

EweSheep: Was that a video from Youtube or did you see in person, at an actual stallion show? Just wondering because I have seen one of his videos where he was off but the rider did a good job of hiding it.
