Henk's Platinum Blue Lakenvelders

I have one Golden Lakenvelder, right at 20 weeks now. She makes the nicest sound, a cooing cluck. Pretty too and from her red comb, about ready to lay!

I think that this is my Lakenvelder chick. Once they get in the brooder and start running around it's hard to keep track of who is who!!

Are your birds standard size or bantams?

I am so jealous, lakenvelders are on my list of breeds I want so badly!

I will find some and I will have them...............of course that means I'll need another coop/run.

I have both large fowl and bantam.
When you cross them you can get a large bantam size hen that lays large fowl size eggs and twice as many.
