We just got our first babies 5 weeks ago, and this is our Dominique. She is our favorite chicken, and she doesn't mind being held. In fact, we tip her back on her back and she sleeps. I am addicted to chickens, now!

Ok, we were building their coop and it was really cold. We came inside to warm up. I don't know if all Dominiques have wonderful personalities, but she sure is a sweetie. If I could only convince my husband to accept the chicken diaper...

Almost ALL of my chickens are lap chickens and know their way from the coop and into the house, since they were brooded in the house. Here's a picture of the latest live-in chickie
