So would a lot of people I bet. A longggg time ago a couple of friends and me were all excited about imaging what frizzled silkes would look like- a friend thought they would look like poodles, that would be super cool right? Well.. a frizzled silkie doesn't look all that different from a regular silkie.. lol The only real obvious difference is curling on the wings and tails... that's pretty much it. Darn. The frizzled crosses/mixes that did not have silky feathering were kinda cute though..

There are some people trying to work on new colors or patterns such as cuckoo(big problem with pale skin due to barring also diluting skin pigment..) white crested blacks, etc.
