Is that like a first aid class? but focusing on resuscitation?

yeah, but you learn chest compressions and stuff. First aid is in it too

Got it!
Me and my brother did one last year, and learnt a lot.
Pretty interesting, and quite fun too; the teacher was pretty cool and had us laughing so hard at one point that another young guy almost fell of his seat!
It also covered extraction from a car, in case of a car accident.
