oh for real my mom is the same. I have to stay above an 90% or I get my phone turned off and get punished until it is back over a 90. and if I get a B on a report card I get my phone turned off for the next quarter of school (9 weeks)

That sucks parents are so mean about grades

Real I hate when my parents tell all their friends I’m smart and blah blah because I have A’s but my dad is really strict we aren’t allowed to have a subject grade be less than 95 and it’s really hard for me to keep my grades up sometimes

so standards are super high for him and sometimes he’s kinda mean about it

SAME. I'm "stupid" if I get below a 90. Hell, 95 irritates him if he's already in a bad mood.

Having a 4.0 doesn't mean you are super smart, I've always had a 4.0 but don't consider myself to be smarter then average

Having a 4.0 doesn't mean you are super smart, I've always had a 4.0 but don't consider myself to be smarter then average

But my parents aren't super pressurey for me if I get a lower grade, I usally get 90+ but if I get a test or quiz with 80s it's not a huge deal just focus more

Real. So unnecessary one bad grade isn’t the end. I remember one time my sister was telling my dad about what she had done in math and at the time I was reviewing old stuff because I was having trouble with my grade level and he told her “that’s amazing, you need to work really hard on math so you don’t end up like your sister”
