I strongly dislike being around bees. I don't like risking getting stung/bitten. So I keep a safe distance.

I think that's true with many animals
Like how you shouldn't handle a spider unless you know it's safe.

I pet and hold bees for fun. Except for yellow jackets. Those things are jerks

And then there are different kinds of fear.

One of these is dogs.

If you have a little poodle, and it runs up and jumps on me, I won't be scared. When I am scared of the poodle is when I'm on a bike and the thing runs right in front of me. Then I am not only scared for the poodle, but for myself since that could go really wrong to the tune of a hospital bill for me.

Oh my goodness, yes, I used to have a big fear of dogs bc my grandma's dog bit me on my face when I was a baby.
Now I don't mind them too much.

Wasps are one thing I am scared of to a degree. I simply will not have anything to do with them.
