The one i had the longest was Joshua and he was blind and depressed for a while but we got better and liked to stand on my feet when i went out the feed them. I think a fox got him but idk. I didnt see any feathers on the ground.

I still have all orpingtons and they're all descendants from my original flock. What's your favorite kind?

My 2 favorite kinds are Seramas and lavender Ameraucanas. Marans, Brahmas, and Wyandottes are pretty high on my list too.

I only started owning chickens when someone I know had one of her two hens die so I took her other one (who is now 5) and then it… expanded from there (I’m at 28 now)

I got lucky, needed a hobby… I had goats as well but they got too complicated with our weather

My parents were fine with me getting chickens and quail and pigeons, but they won't let me get ducks. I have been wanting ducks for YEARS but my dad says they are too messy and they need a big pond.

I think it's pretty good. Maybe put a roof to prevent hawk attacks. Did you hatch those yourself?
