Calling all teenagers

Touch typing is the skill of typing without having to glance at your keyboard to look for the specific key you need. Like, using both right and left hands to type instead of just one, or your thumbs. (Using your thumbs would be thumbing, which is usually used for typing on phones.)

Hunt-and-peck typing (also one of my TOP pet peeves,) would be hunting for your desired key, and then pressing it once you've found it.

Hunt and peck typists usually have an average WPM of 20-30, whereas touch typists have an average of 40-60+. My highest is 140 WPM, and my average is around 110.
That is insane! i dont know what mine is I have never tried

I'm a bit on the slow side, I tend to make quite a bit of errors while typing/skipping letters. Hence why I go over each message I send and correct the spelling since it bothers me.

oh I can do that! but my mom says I type weird so she's trying to get me to type a different way but I type way slower like that

The one thing that I never paid attention to was how the typing program said to use specific fingers. I'm sure it'd be faster and less mistakes, but I tend to find relearning anything like that to be really difficult, and so I stick with my odd way of typing that manages to be pretty decent.
