In town we cant butcher as its against the law.
Im not even suppose to do deep litter in my coop cause its over the amount of chicken waste you can hold at a time.

I can’t really hatch either bc we don’t have an incubator plus my parents don’t like getting a dozen roosters! I actually just got some more chicks though! really wanted some Barbu d'Uccle chicks but I couldn’t find any they were all sold out

What chicks did you get?

Good for you! I could never do that...that's the only reason I don't hatch, because of all the males I'll get.

I can't hatch - my parents say bators and brooders are too expensive. So if I want to hatch I just work out a deal with my coworker who has a bird addiction - she's always happy to help cause she has an excuse to tell her husband as she sets a whole bator full of eggs to only sell me 5 - she tells him "Hatch rate could be lower than usual" and when they all hatch, 100%, she gets like 15 more chicks and I get my 5

I had two Mille fluer duccles a few years ago and they were so cute and friendly. I highly recommend
