I had the iPhone SE (2020) that I had for 4 years and just got an iPhone 14 for my birthday this year. I managed to go 4 years before breaking the back on my old phone but only lasted 4 months with this one. It should be easy and not too expensive to replace myself though.

My last good phone lasted four years, then I got a freebie and now I've got a good one. Always Android.

Had a Moto G7+ for a long time, now I have a Moto G 5G 2024 w/Android 14

If it's not carrier locked you could in theory put a custom ROM like LineageOS and get some more life out of it.

Then again, that is a bit of a process.

I'm aware of such things. My fiancé used to use one of those, but gave up on the hassle. Old phone couldn't hold battery anyways.
