Calling all teenagers

We don't usually start getting the tree in until about a week before.
What kind of tree to you all have? Some years we have had plastic ones, for quite a few years we had a tree growing in a pot, but its been planted now.
Last year, we went to a nature reserve where pine trees were growing as weeds, and cut one down and put it in a pot. We will most likely be doing the same this year.

We use a fake one.

We used to cut down a live tree to put in my room (all our others are fake), but one year we used a pine tree and aphids hatched out…I was overrun with aphids. never again!

Sorry, I guess its not really very funny, but the idea of aphids running everywhere from a Christmas tree!
