A lot of reasons.
We have buick which is manufactured under GMC and its sucks. Rebuilt the whole engine with only 200,000 miles on it. We did buy it used knowing the timing chain was bad.

Then we have relatives that have chevys and they suck they always have problems with them.


We have a Chevy Equinox we are fixing for a friend right now. And all the extra tools you need for the vehicle was ridiculous.


Ive helped fix fords and dodges and they are much easier. Dont need all the tools as they make it so you can fix them without it.

We had a 03 Dodge Truck and my grandpa still owns one. Wish we didnt get rid of ours.
But they never broke down.

We have a Ford truck right now and its never broke down on us yet.

Fair points. But, most of those vehicles you listed are new, and the newer they get the more complicated they get. And more unreliable apparently. Older is better.
