I have. We used to have small black fuzzy caterpillars in our backyard. Those weren't that bad, but I've seen fuzzy ones that are super sharp (painted lady i think).

Yeah I guess little me was pretty reckless when it came to picking them up. The ones we had were harmless. And very cute.
