Calling all veterans and family members. Allies too.

My son served 3 years in U.S. Army - with a tour in Iraq. He's working weekend reserve this Father's Day weekend.

Thank you all for serving and Happy Father's Day.
 
Thank you all of those men and woman who serve...To my my relations who served...My father -Army and then Airforce SAC B52 retire Maj.( to taught me everything I know about being a "Good" Human being and my husband ( a good kind man and wonderful father /Husband-Army 1st Cav Staff Sgt.- Vietnam vet
..and my Son- Airforce- Airmen (I am so proud of him but miss him more then I ever) He has not meet my new chicks yet...all animals love my son...The Airfoce is so very lucky to have him
Thank you, more than I can show or you will ever know...You are all blessed ...and my promise to those I don't know and have never meet...a special prayer and if I see you in a line at the store or on the street I will say Thank you!

Husband is a Staff Sergeant in The Wisconsin National Guard...Alpha Company 1/128th Infantry Battalion 32nd Brigade (Red Arrow). He's been in 18+ years....Deployed once to Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom 3 (OIF3) for 18 months. He is working full time (AGR) right now preparing unit for there second deployment back to Iraq for another 18+ months....


My Father is also a Vetinam War Vet....

My Grandpa is a Korean War Vet....

Ironically our oldest daughters birthday is November 11. She is a Veteran's Day baby!!!!!!

I gave up counting the number of times I've been to "the gulf" or how many deployments overseas.
 
This is My Family History:

My Mom's Father served in WWII not sure how long He was in the Army.
My Dad's Father served in the Korean war and Veitnam was in the Airforce for 35yrs
My Dad was a Helicopter Pilot in Veitnam was in the Army for 10 yrs.
Out of my Grandma's 7 brothers , 4 were in the Army and 3 in the Navy all in WWII
My Aunts husband was in the Navy and all 3 of his sons were Marines.
My DH was in the Army in 1978-1983 the first time and in 1991-1997 the second. We were stationed at FT. Campbell, KY and FT. Stewert , GA . He also went to Korea for a year when our son was first born.
My DH Father served in the Navy for 23yrs and was in Korean and Veitnam Wars
Several More cousins have serverd but Can't list them all.

Sorry that was so long but I am so proud of them all I couldn't help but share it with everyone.

My whole family supports our Men and Women in every branch of the Military and would like to say THANK YOU!!! You are what makes our Nation Great!

He was in Alaska in 78 thru 83 but we were in Ky 1991-1993. He was D-company of 502 TOW . Dh was a Staff Sgt on the TOW and then the sent him to Korea and moved him to the Bradly company when he came back and was station at Ft. Stewert.
( my spelling is bad. )
