Well, a little (Actually, a LOT!) about me...

I am 13 and play the flute, guitar, bass (only a little), and keyboards. (Yes, I am female...)

I have a cheap acoustic guitar I made with scrap parts from a few First-Acts and a Schecter Damien Elite FR electric guitar I got as an early Christmas present.

I have been playing the flute for 6 years, guitar for 4 months, bass since whenever I was crazy enough to pick up another instrument, and can play C instrument music on some electric keyboards in my room.

The only formal training I have had was when I learned to read music and play the flute in the school band. I taught myself to play everything else. [IMG]

I was first inspired to play the guitar when I started listening to Papa Roach, but never acually picked up a guitar until I got hooked on Avenged Sevenfold.

I am really good with the flute, awful at bass, okay at the guitar, and can be a really good keyboardist if I ever feel like practicing them.

My goal for when I get older is to [hopefully] form a band and go on tour... and hopefully become successful. I would rather be involved with something I love and am passionate for than be stuck at a stupid office job.

My favorite guitarists are Synyster Gates, Zacky Vengeance, Dimebag Darrel, Zakk Wylde, Eddie Van halen, and Charlie Scene.
Another favorite musician of mine is Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan, who died last year. He was 28 years old, and one of the greatest drummers this world has come to know. RIP James Owen Sullivan- foREVer

[Sorry I wrote so much, lol]

So... Let me know about yourself!

its hard, trumpet compared to French Horn is like playing a recorder instead of a clarinet.

I've been playing tenor sax in the school band... I like it, but EVERYONE else who plays ANY type of saxophone in my grade at our school is so loud that I get migrants every day after band... [IMG] I REALLY want to switch to flute, but im a
little worried at what the 'rents will say, because they bought me my saxophone, and they usually make me try something for a while before they make a big commitment.... [IMG] I'd feel terrible messing up the first time they made a big commitment... Anyone wanna trade a flute for a tenor sax? [IMG]

Anyway, WOW!!! You are SUPER musical!!! Lol I've been interested in guitar for a while...

I am a college student studying music education. I started out in 4th grade on flute and that went really really well. When I was a sophomore in high school I heard an oboe and instantly fell in love. I HAD to play it. I started a month later and haven't stopped since. I still play flute and piccolo occasionally, but oboe is my main instrument. I also play piano (fairly well- I just am a terrible sight reader when it comes to piano), english horn, clarinet (haven't played in a while though), some alto sax, ukulele, some guitar and violin (ukulele is my string instrument of choice though), and many more. I am also a very big singer. I tried french horn but I was not very good at it LOL...then again, I was trying to teach it myself. I also tried that with bassoon.

Music is my life. I live, eat, and breathe it. [IMG]
