I got back from Florida today. (Pompano Beach) Here's a few flora and fauna pics
White Ibis

Iguanas have become common (and nuisances) in southern FL, this one, minus tail is about 15" long.

mango.jpg I picked a mango for breakfast yesterday, can't compare to what we buy here in the supermarket....
Tomorrow I'll post some pics of my chicks, who have grown a lot in 4 days. My DH took good care of all the chickens, but they were all very glad to see me.

She’s fine, every thing else is good, no body got hurt and the folks at the gas station have a story to tell... but I think this might hurt resale, lol

Hmmm, my wife doesn’t even smoke .... I wonder if her boyfriend does? :confused:

Actually she was parked at the Casey’s gas station up by the door, and somebody came in and said hey that truck out there is smoking real bad... and then poof!

Guess I should have looked up turtle omens in my Ozark folklore book....

Thought I'd maybe find something funny to post. Didn't find anything related to turtle omen superstition. . but

Don’t rush me! My lips get tired when I read too fast ;)

Actually page 253 said to stop a turtle curse I had to go outside and spit on a corner fence post, then turn around three times and look up then write down what I see on a 3 of diamonds, then bury that under the porch with either a buckeye or a pine cone .... when I get that done I gotta read some more pages... but this might take a while... I’m not sure where we keep the buckeyes and pine cones
