calling any one from missouri

Was that a Dodge? You used to see a lot of them on the side of the road burned up...

Glad no one was hurt.

That reminds me to take a look at Rusty to see what wire the wood rat ate this time to make it have a miss... I've got a evil plan for them when I get the lean to added to the new shop.

This was a Chevy. I wasn’t real attached to it even though I inherited it from my dad.... it was his basic farm truck ... but he’d barely used it...it was a 2009 w/ low miles... so kind of a shame in that respect...

The tires were the part that hurt my feelings, lol... I just put them on not long ago...

I immediately thought of pack rats because I just caught two in the shed this week, and the truck hadn’t been moved since last weekend... but who knows?

I got back from Florida today. (Pompano Beach) Here's a few flora and fauna pics

Iguanas have become common (and nuisances) in southern FL, this one, minus tail is about 15" long.

View attachment 1827545 I picked a mango for breakfast yesterday, can't compare to what we buy here in the supermarket....
Tomorrow I'll post some pics of my chicks, who have grown a lot in 4 days. My DH took good care of all the chickens, but they were all very glad to see me.

That mango looks sooooo good! When I was in the keys a few years back we picked up fresh coconuts up in the yard, they were extremely tasty!

I wasn’t familiar with angel trumpet so I looked it up... turns out it can make you see pink elephants!.. it’s apparently a hallucinogenic...

I would agree that it's a good chance pack rats have chewed through some wire insulation. They have stripped all the insulation off my truck and van and chewed some wires in the truck twice, well maybe three times as it running rough again. I plan on some kind of hot wire around the lean too when it gets built.

Not Fisk, outside of Ellsinore. I've only been here about 8 years so I don't know where Fisk is, or a lot of the little towns round about. I can make my way to St Louis though, lol.

Opps Ellsinore is North West of Poplar Bluff, Fisk is the next tiny town to the East of Poplar Bluff. Where you turn West on 60 to get to Ellsinore I'm a few miles North on 67. So you are a pretty close neighbor.

I put mouse/rat bait in suet feeders and mount them under the hood... which works well... but you do have to keep it fresh... which I had not done.

They’re so easy to catch I’d not worried too much about them... but the problem I have is because they’re generally solitary I catch 1 or 2 when I see signs of one, and then nothing... then another moves in months later.

I must be hallucinating every time I go to St. Louis because I see a pink elephant each time I go :lau

Ha!... I forgot about that, we just saw it last month when we went to Illinois
