calling any one from missouri

We had a tornado warning in our county last night until 9:30. The sirens were going, and we went into the basement for a while, waking up the broody hen in her jail, which I moved away from the window. It was a radar indicated storm, not sure if there was ever one reported on the ground. There was a cardinals-cubs game on tv that was getting interrupted by local weatherman with updates. The area in question was between us and Lamar, just barely south of us. It was really windy and I could hear hail.....it's still dark so we haven't been outside to look around.
@shawluvsbirds are you okay this morning?
Anyone else affected?
Edit to add-- I don't see any damage anywhere, even Fred the spider is business as usual.....
All good here doesn't even look like it rained.

7D42FEA6-D1B7-4903-8FCA-AC1AB77A1EEE.jpeg I had a stick bug ( aka walking stick) fall on my face earlier today while replacing a door on the back porch... then I came around to the front door to find this one above the door waiting to pounce on me...

Do the rest of you have a lot of these this year?

Haven't seen many of those but I had a preying mantis that hung out on the window every night for about 4 days. I did not photograph it. . but
I had one last year about this time that partied it up with us for a couple weeks :gig

Yes, but most of the ones I have found have been bright green!

Here's a neighbor's cow at our shared fence line yesterday, . She is black but has a white tail.... the cattle do a good job of 'weed-eating' along the fence which borders our yard, saving us the trouble.

I had a Fred look alike yesterday. I almost walked into his web.
I smooshed him.
I'm not risking a heart attack for a spider. :gig

A ton of rain here. Nearly 6 inches. Water is everywhere. Lots of roads are closed with water over them. Several fields and some houses have two feet of water in them. The rain came so fast.

Correction... The official total was just over 8 inches of rain. In less than 12 hours.
