We are supposed to get an inch and a half of snow tomorrow!
Of course I'm supposed to drive to Birch Tree to go trout fishing with my son. Good thing I have insulated coveralls!

Got home from Beaver Lake to some nasty weather and Pig Pen has something wrong with her foot. She holds it out in front and does not walk on it like it's tender. She was easy to catch this evening and I turned her over and looked as best as I could but didn't see anything obvious wrong so I put her in sick bay where she won't be bothered and won't have to move around much. I'll take another look in the morning when it's a bit lighter out at her foot, anything I need to look for?

Pig pen is a chicken right?
Man foot things are hard to tell what is going on Unless you see the tale tell black scab of a bumble.
With the ducks sometimes I think they kind of just twist their leg or hip wrong. . they limp for a day or two and then they are fine.

I am enjoying my last evening in Oregon... It's 58° and gorgeous here. I am savoring every moment.
DH, back in MO says there was every kind of precipitation this morning and it's currently 22° and dropping. He'll pick me up in KC manana. I feel like I'm heading to Antarctica.

Maybe. I can’t make proper snow angels with just this little bit.

We got at least 1.5 inches. I didn't go back out after I measured 1 inch, but we got much more after that. Decided to put off going to see my son until Tuesday, but now they have cancelled school up here for Tuesday because of icy road conditions!
