There were still mostly bantams, but their were almost as many bantam Cochins as silkies. A full table was for modern game bantams. So I'd say about 2/3 bantams, as the other half of the room was both large poultry and waterfowl. A big light brahma and a big buff Orpington were on the champion row. A bantam fluffy black Cochin took reserve to a sleek, itty bitty long legged modern game bantam. A white little call duck took best waterfowl. And I can't remember the rest. I think I was just ready to bolt for freedom and the open road when they finally released the birds. You couldn't leave sooner without getting disqulified and being barred from future shows. My husband and and I found an Italian restaurant near the Budwiser distribution center which we SERIOUSLY felt like visiting after learning it might be 6pm before we could go home. I saw at least 8 Jersey giants mostly black & white, and a pretty black langshan rooster. Their were a lot of bantam buff brahmas, but not as many of the large fowl. They had dominiques, australorps, barred rock, buff orps, I didn't remember seeing any new hampshires. I saw a fair # of leghorns, don't remember any welsummers, their were a few sumatras large & bantam. Their were a LOT of nice looking polish. I can't remember the rest, I was pretty sleep deprived. Of the waterfowl, I might have to get some east indies ducks if we ever get a pond. I loved their black shiny feathers with blue and green hues.
I'd really hoped to see more d'uccles, 4 of the 7 there were mine.
