Lots of fireflies here! When I was a kid we did call them lightning bugs. I just love them!

Wow... I had no idea there were that many species of fireflies... I wonder how many we have in Missouri?

I have fond memories of our granny giving us kids mason jars to catch them...

Then she’d make a ‘pallet on the floor’ of blankets and pillows and we’d all lay down and let a couple fireflies out and watch them on the ceiling till we fell asleep
 
Hello all !
I live in a family of thirteen ( totally not a lot .lol) we have twenty nine chickens , three dogs , four horses, one quail and more in the Bator , one parikeet and one cat .

Does anyone have success with keeping four roosters with twenty five hens ?!?!?!?!
Does anyone hear want a leghorn x Mosaic cross chick (he's a roo sadly)
What are y'all talking bout other than lightnin bugs , haha.
