Hi Crestcrazy2, how ya doing? What part of MO are you in? What kind of roosters do you have? How old are they and how are they getting along so far?

I'm near cassville . I have an Easter egger roo , a mosaic roo , a silkie roo and a leghorn roo that hatched a couple weeks ago . I'm planning on rehoming the Leghorn . Their all getting along well .

We have a female golden retriever expecting some pups !! What part of mo are you in ?

Oh you're way over on the other side of Springfield. I'm on the east side, by Poplar Bluff. I love Goldens, but it just ain't happening right now. We have an aging Sheltie old lady and a young Sheltie pup, both taking a lot of time and energy right now. Maybe after Gracie passes, we might think about taking another dog but not right now. Can I ask what you get for your pups though just to have in the back of my mind?

Since you aren't too far away, there's a poultry swap in Neosho, at Southside Feed, 2nd Sat of each month. Joplin has one too, 1st Saturdays, but they've all been cancelled so far. I'm going to sell my extra boys at whichever comes first. Joplin's is at Turkey Creek Feed.

This is my Gracie. She's very large, over the breed standard, obviously. She's somewhat hearing impaired due to having only one tulip ear. She's about ten years old, has had several large fatty tumors removed and has really slowed down since then. Her claim to fame is that she keeps coyotes away so our birds can free-range. Her passion is barking at squirrels. When we first moved here she tried to herd the dragonflies. And once, a turtle.
