calling any one from missouri

Well then I just upped my immunity...

I kneeled down to look at something and got a sweat bee sting behind the knee 😡

oh wait, that’s a sting not a bite, that probably didn’t help at all 🙄
here's another factoid:
Bee venom, also called apitoxin, contains many biologically active compounds, amino acids, and enzymes that have anti-inflammatory properties, alleviate pain, and promote healing. There are also immune-modulating effects on the body from the bee sting itself.

Our daughter in Portland, OR just put her house on the market today, and plans to move here to the farm! We are really glad to have her. She wants to do the back-to-the-land thing, and what better place. We had assumed we were moving to OR, but searched unsuccessfully for a suitable affordable place. And now that the coronavirus has put the brakes on our lives, this seems like a very good place to be, for all of us.
She'll probably sell it this weekend, realtor is booked solid w showings.
:celebrate :celebrate :celebrate :celebrate :woot :woot :celebrate :celebrate :woot :clap
Freakin awesome sue.

My dd is moving home as well... I haven't seen her since this time last year. I'm looking forward to seeing her!

My oldest daughter lives in Harris county Tx and they just issued a LEVEL 1 RED SEVERE COVID-19 STAY HOME order as area hospitals are almost full and the virus is spreading fast.

It's very scary. My brother lives in Dallas where there is also a big spike in cases. He spent time w someone who tested positive. Our county now has 21 cases which may not seem like a lot, but 10 days ago it had one. Surrounding counties have hundreds of cases, growing daily. Us older high risk folks are pretty anxious....

It's pouring here. I took an umbrella and went out to check on the incubator gang, who, during previous downpour, stood huddled and afraid, out in the rain. But I was thrilled so see they were all under their coop!
Welcome to the next level guys!

Yay! They graduated “ get out of the rain” school😂

Finally got to the money cut yesterday, from here on I can use my buddies bandsaw mill. That cut took 20 minutes!

Loaded one slab into my 5' x 10' trailer with a come-a-long and a strap. Seems someone has lifted my log tongs or I've lost them... so I used a lifting strap.

My B7500 Kubota tractor with a bucket didn't quite have enough hydraulic power to fully lift the log, but it would hold it so I pulled the trailer out from under the log and put it under the carport.

Going to have to use the backhoe for the next one...

Outstanding! But, you’ve convinced me that I’m glad I didn’t try this with our logs... even though they were much smaller, lol
