calling any one from missouri

3 of the 5 remaining hens are laying again. I got them 3 1/2 years ago so I'm impressed that they are still laying. Monique is the only one that has not laid in over a year so I guess she has joined the old biddies retirement club.

The pullets have started to pluck the butt feathers from each other... don't know what to do about that.

Today I got 6 eggs from 7 pullets, and 3 eggs from the 6 hens. It is about the same every day. No way do we need all these eggs. I cooked 4 eggs to feed back to them. Poultry swap in Neosho is happening Sat, where I could re-home those I don’t want to keep, but I think it’s going to be rainy.
