Hanging sheetrock is not too hard just don't run the screws in too far and break the paper. Cutting the holes for the electrical boxes can be a bit fun. I use a couple of pieces of 1x4 or similar to push the top row up tight to the ceiling. I have them a bit longer than the bottom of the sheet and after getting the sheet in position kick the bottoms of the boards to push the sheet up tight if that makes any sense. Here is a pretty good guide for hanging sheetrock. If you have to hang sheetrock on the ceiling do it first and make a couple of T shaped stooges to hold the sheet up tight on the ceiling.I never hung drywall and I don’t think my husband has either.
