I guess the ice all went eastward

I got up about 2:30 in the morning and looked out because one of the dogs needed out. There was ice coming down here then. Everything was covered up with snow by this morning but it doesn't look quite that deep here as in your picture.

So far here just rain and a tiny bit of sleet on the deck which I need to sweep off before it freezes!

So far we have about a 1/2 inch of sleet. They still say the snow is coming, just later in the day or evening.

8º here this morning! It looks like the system may be past us, and I’m not sure how much it snowed overnight. From what I can see w a flashlight, there are some deep drifts and some almost bare areas.
Right now, I’m just staying warm by the fire....
When we burn Osage orange, sometimes it puts on a sparkler show.
