I'm not sure if I'm going to want to let anything hatch for sale this year either because of all this.
I pretty much quit going to those swaps anyway because I didn't have any trouble selling ducklings through Craigslist. Idk what to think. On one hand I think the calls may be in higher demand because there's not going to be any swaps.
I definitely know I don't want anyone walking in my coop this year. I will have to meet them in the drive.

I’m going to the Eastern Missouri farmers market swap tomorrow (Sunday). So far they just aren’t allowing water fowl in for sale. I’m going to take a bunch of my jams, jellies and salsas and see if I can sell any of them. I also have some cute gnomes I made that I will offer up as well.

I bucked up into rounds a dead twin oak tree yesterday... today we'll see how many I can split. Didn't have much room to put the tree without hanging up in another tree so I was pretty careful with my notch.


It was a bit dicey being close to the shop and having some hollow parts but the ole hoe made sure it fell the right way.


I have 3 more dead trees to cut down and they are all huge!

I spent a little under 3 hours at the Farmer’s Market/ animal swap. I sold 9 jars of ( pickles, salsas, jams& jellies ). I’m happy to say I made a profit
There were a lot of variety of things for sale! Calves, dwarf goats, pigs, puppies, rabbits, turkeys, roosters, hens, chicks, Guineas, rats, mice, Guinea pigs, quail, quail eggs, a few plants, home made soaps, breads, cookies, jams, jellies, salsas, pickles, Kleenex box covers, hatching eggs, eating eggs, cages and accessories, toys ( jump ropes & stuffed animals & ??), light bars and who knows what all else!
