calling any one from missouri

We cut down a little Juniper tree for our Christmas tree. I always called them cedar trees, didn’t know they were really Junipers. Anyway while most people think they are weeds, we think they make great Christmas trees. And they’re free, and they’re everywhere!

And here’s a surprise in this chilly weather, our yard has a bunch of stinkhorn mushrooms! Where did they come from? Every morning, there are a couple new ones. They smell yucky and attract flies, other than that, they are fascinating….🙃

We have juniper and cedar trees side by side here. Last winter one of the cedar trees was bent over until it rested on the deck from some wet snow. I had to pull it back upright with a rope... I may take the rope off and see if it has straitened out.
