When you don't check your zucchini for a few days...

Zucchini relish.
Zucchini patties.
Roasted zucchini.
Fried zucchini.
I luv it all.
I never got around to planting any this year dang it. I am gonna have me a plant or 2 next year for sure!

We’ve had several days of thunder and lightning but no rainfall at my house.
Today I cooked down my tomatoes and got 2 quarts of tomato sauce.
Then used green peppers , onion , and celery from the garden to make stuffed green peppers. Next up is going to be cowboy candy made with hot banana peppers ( I didn’t grow jalapeños this year).
Tomorrow I’m going to my friend’s winery to pick my favorite grapes ( Chambercin ). I usually get to bring home a bucket or 2 after we’ve picked for the winery. I love the grape jelly that these grapes make!

It was a beautiful day for some football. My 4th grade grandson and his 7th grade brother both had their first actual football games today! Both of their teams won!
