Oh My Gosh, Cancel my request for a Partridge cochin roo. We went to Lebanon yesterday and pick up 2 of the most beautiful Partridge cochin roos! Also picked up four more girls. These are the first full size show quality birds we have ever purchased. Most of the show quality stock we have purchased have been hatching eggs or chicks and so we have yet to see them grow out. I can't believe, I think the roo is about 3 foot tall. Anyway, we are so excited to get them home and once they start laying, we will be offering hatching eggs from them.

CALL ME THE LUCKY DUCK of the day! I just got 9 Wade Jean line Black Copper Maran Eggs. I am having the chicken/egg week of a lifetime. I am feeling a lot overwhelmed, because we have to get some pens finished and have other household isses going on, but I am so excited to have these hatching eggs coming.

Cason so ready to plant also. I can hardly wait to get seeds in the ground. It is to warm not to want to get them started, but I know. I remember an Easter with a foot of snow. I will wait, I will wait, I will wait..............

Anybody getting out your swim suits today, supposed to be 80 here in sunny central Missouri. What is everyone up to today. We are going outside to build the last 2 five pen sets of breeder pens, when I get these two finished will have enough pens for 150 chickens. Hope everyone gets outside today.
