Yeah... I am pretty sure I can't get anymore... I gave her 3 of the Salmon Faverolles I got yesterday. And she has 2 silkie eggs and 1 mutt egg under her. So we'll see how it goes!! Hope one of the other 2 go broody too!!!

Well, I have to rethink my temporary teenager coop... Went out this morning and found 2 of them are gone. Saw feathers outside and know there was a coon that got them!

I hate coons. Gonna have to watch with a gun in my hand!

I have been saving every penny to get a new coop. Last year after our coon attack I encased both coops in concrete!!!! Both were buildings converted into coops. One was the old outhouse that has been here for 50 years!

Ohh Chickie you need a LGD. A pery even looks up and runs off hawks. Maybe a live trap set out at night and baited? They scored once, they'll be back.

I put the remaining 5 in the pen with the silkies. Not ideal but it will work for now. Got a hole dug to put a kiddie pool in for the ducks. I need a pen for them.
