I have 4 BLR Wyandotte 7 week old cockerals that I need to find a home for. I drive to Columbia and O'Fallon a couple of times(or more) a month so could meet somewhere if needed. I live in north central Missouri. They are hatchery birds from Heartland Hatchery. If anyone is interested I can get some pictures posted.

Ok, I'm new to chicken ranching. How do I keep the hens in water thru the winter. I should say what is the best way. I have no electric to the coop. I can't run any because of dogs and chewing they will do.

there is a product available in the feed stores that looks like it is made out of rubber. I turn it over when the water is frozen, step on the bottom and pop out the ice. twice a day if it is necessary. The chickens can't turn it over, 18 inches in diameter and four inches deep.
