Glad your daughter did so well on her selling. And thank you for the new dates for the sales. Glad to hear they will be selling year round. seems like we can't get anything going around here. I am still laid up with an aching belly, hopefully it will be better by Monday and things can get back to normal around here.

I'm sorry I'm not much for posting.. Gotten kind of reclusive in my "old age".. Hard for me to make contact with the outside world. All my old friends had gotten into the business of living their own lives, long time ago-just as I had, but I never got around to the business of making new friends, like they had.

Hard for me to make new friends.. I'm like a new chick peeping out of its shell, and I want to step out and get involved, but don't know how well I'd fit in. Guess I have abandonement issues! lol. I'll "stop by" from time to time.. BYC is one of my few outlets, other than playing an online game, and managing inside home/hearth, and outside flock. But you all will see me every now and again, that is, if you guys don't mind.

Hi! I am from Troy, MO - new to the forum and new to chickens. I just bought 7 hens from the sale in Silex on Saturday. They are still getting settled in, but seem to be doing okay.
