Let's see...the corn & beans got eaten by Japanese beetles (don't do poison), the tomatoes & peas did fair (they're done), squash not too bad (done too) & the peppers, well they've never done better. I had to stake them all & some of the plants are chest high & all are still producing.

Hi! I live near Butler, MO. Have 40 chickens, 10 horses, 10 Indian runner ducks, 3 rabbits, and a shihtzu and a boston terrier and a bassethound. Never a dull moment. Good to meet ya!

Glad to see so many new chicken folks here! Are any of you planning on going to Jacob's cave???? It is a 4 day swap held near Versailles. the 1, 2 ,3 and 4th of October. We will be taking some cuckoo marans, partridge rocks, new hampshire reds, and a few other odd balls.
Would love to meet up with some of you.

Sorry to hear you can't make it ChickNPink. It is a great time.

I thought I would post on here first. I am looking for show quality (mainly non-hatchery stock) Blue Laced Red Wyandottes. Anyone from mighty Mo have any chicks or hatching eggs? Also looking for all colors of Large Fowl Cochins and Large Fowl Buff or Dark Brahmas.

If anyone has any leads I would sure appreciate it.
