Anybody have any ideas what could be wrong with my roo. No sores or cuts on his foot. Nothing feels broken or out of place. Open to any suggestions.

You might ask on the what's wrong illnesses and emergency threads. There are people who follow those with a lot of knowledge. Add details about what you are observing. Good luck.

Does he sit like this often? My roo does the same thing, I never noticed him hurting, limping, or anything... I think it's a way to sit without getting too comfortable he doesn't huddle down all the day, just sits back on his legs. Hope that's just what yours is doing.

More details needed. Is he limping?

He was unable to hang with the rest if the group. So i went a head and butchered him. He had an achilles tendon dislocation, which makes sense on why he was unable to put weight on the leg.
Wanted to let you all know what i found.

Hi, I'm also from STL, but I keep my chickens in Dittmer. I can take your cockerel. I already have one Buttercup boy, but have plenty of girls for the both of them. If you like, shoot me a PM. If you need to rehome him ASAP, then we may be able to connect tomorrow if you like.
