We have a blue full size truck, a silver sedan, and I my old small truck which is silver/tan... I think it's called "Silver Birch" or something like that...

I like silver because it doesn't show dirt. Which lines up with this statement about being practical... not sure any of the rest holds true though.

Yes but silver and gray are harder to see, since they blend in w the road. So we turn the lights on so we'll be more visible.

I think the one thing that really made a big difference with my coop was the addition of electricity. Lights rock especially when you are out and about either real early or real late.

There’s electricity now via extension cord Got a light on a timer now...you know, easier to get the chicks to bed when there’s light in the otherwise dark coop. I’d really like to put a ceiling fan in there so I could get the box fan out of the window.

Does anyone use a IBC tote for water? If so A) how do you keep it from freezing in winter, B) do you fill it via rain gutters or garden hose & C) do you have it elevated?

I have that part covered (if they still work)...a plug-in waterer & also a warmer made from a big cookie tin fitted with an appliance lightbulb (cheap, easy to make & works great).

I’m asking about those big square metal framed plastic containers. Something to use as a daily water source since the shed isn’t plumbed. Like this...

I have one of those mocha metallic color cars. Usually looks black or dark gray. . but in different light it can look purple or mocha color. It's also a very incognito car. . Chevy impala there are tons of them around. Makes it hard to find my car in the parking lot sometimes.

Yeah ours too, is hard to find in parking lot EXCEPT often we're the only similar car covered in road dust......

Yeah we live on a dead end dirt road off a dirt road so our van is dirt colored most of the time. We get the dirtiest car in the parking lot award a lot.
