calling any one from missouri

WOW this group is really growing lately! Welcome to all the newcomers.
Who else has snow?
I messed up and had my cocker spaniel put outside yesterday before I realized!!
So 2 hours cleaning the wet grass pieces and tiny sticks from his legs.
I was so busy trying to get him all warm and dry I back combed his rear until he now looks like a gerbil!!
My SLW pullets are back inside as I removed all the heat from my coops last weekend!
CRAZY Missouri weather!!! Even more than normal!!

I found this....I always make sure my eggs I buy are NPIP

Many states, including Missouri, require either a negative pullorum test within the past 90 days or participation in the NPIP for poultry to legally enter the state or be exhibited at public exhibitions (2CSR 30-2.40). A negative pullorum test is also required for a producer to legally sell day-old poultry and hatching eggs within the state of Missouri.

Doesnt mention eggs shipped in to be hatched.

Do you have to buy eggs from a NPIP breeder to bring them into the state?
I personally do not require that for many reasons. 1. most birds don't have it 2. unless you are showing your birds or wanting to ship chicks, it really makes no since to me to get your flock tested every year 3. if you would decide become NPIP certified you can only purchase stock from other NPIP certified people and can no longer have vistors to your flock/farm in some states. Lots of red tape there. Many states it costs up to $15 per bird to be tested which is why so many people in other states don't do it. Yes from what I understand it is free in missouri but there is a long wait list.

i just choose to keep it fun right know and not limit my choices of breeds or swaps and things I injoy. All the red tape and gov junk makes it not so much fun. Just my opinion also. Plus if you would decide to show you can get that bird tested at the show inorder to enter.
