calling any one from missouri

Hope everyone and their animals are doing alright after all this cold. Does it have anyone else looking to spring and planning their gardens for the coming year?

Planning my Garden right now. I was going to get more hens but backed off on that. Going to plant more stuff this year me thinks. Tomatoes for sure just not sure what else yet. Maybe kale and taters.

I just yesterday ordered my fresh mortgage lifter tomatoe seed for this year along with a few new frut trees I'm going to try some of the 5n1 trees Apple and Pair. I also ordered almond trees does anyone have much luck with them? I thought I'd give them a try hear in west central mo I don't know of anyone near me that has them

Has anyone tried fodder? Is it a lot of work, does it save money? I am thinking about bees and trying to get honey. I am the Entomology 4-H project leader and thought it might be fun. My parents live next door and they have planted several fruit trees and a large raspberry patch. I might do a small garden.

My girls got through just great... I put in about 15 gallons of hot water, sealed up 5 gallons at a time in buckets in their coop on the two really really cold nights... their run is covered in clear tarps so when the sun came out during the day, it got up to almost 50 degrees in there... despite being -1 outside.

As far as gardening... I sowed Cabbage, Broccoli, and Brussels sprouts indoors on Jan 3. I plan to harden them off and get them out in the garden in March.

I will be starting lettuces and spinaches and more broccoli indoors Feb 1.

And everything else, like tomatoes and whatnot will be started indoors Feb 15.

Direct sowing happens April 15th.

I am READY! =)

Today we had our fist reversed egg, white in the middle and yolk on the outside, we had hard boiled it. We were almost scared to cut it and were shocked to find the white! Has this happened to anyone else?

I've never seen/heard of anything like this. Too bad there's no other way to save this for posterity than photos. It's totally amazing.

I had no idea that was even possible

All I can think of is about how jealous Ron Popeil must be...

He spent a good chunk of his life figuring out how to scramble an egg while still inside it's shell, and here you've managed to scramble one while still inside the chicken.
