Thanks! I love taking photos. I have over a thousand just on my phone. LOL! Pics of chickens, goats, horses, dogs, kittens.... mostly animals. You'd never guess I actually have kids and a grandson by looking at my photos. I'm pathetic.
I've never milked a cow, never owned a cow. One of the few animals I really don't know much about. My dad raised hogs and horses, my mom had dogs and goats, and of course chickens! My sister's goats get bred each year... can't have milk without having kids. She generally sells most of them and only keeps one occasionally to be a new milker. She has lovely goats. There's no pygmy in her breeding though. You can check out of farm's Facebook page here

I actually got my doe from her because I tried milking one of my medium sized goats and had such a hard time getting a hold of her teats... they were so small! I've always wondered how folks manage to milk the pint sized breeds. Do they do it by hand or do they use an automated milker?? The black goat I posted the picture of is half pygmy. She's the sweetest thing and such a good momma... but there's no way I could milk her.
