So frustrated...

Orscheln was supposed to get chicks yesterday, then they said the shipment wouldn't come until today. I went up there and now they don't know when they'll get them.

I was at Orschelens tonight over here and they don't have chicks either. Which for me was a good thing. I can't bring any home... I need to save my money for the eggs I want... Need English Orps, FCBMs, and silkied Ams.
Oh and pullet only bantam cochin eggs. Can't hatch ANY roos!!

I'm in SW Missori and looking for the best place to get a Black Australorp, Ameraucana, and Columbian or silver laced Wyandotte...and maybe a Barneveldor. I only want 4 chickens. I'm in the city and just want some fresh eggs for me and my family from some friendly hens.

Yep, that's me! I don't know what happened with those birds, but all is better now. I've gotten rid of all of my Silkies except the one that i got from you, Rosie. I'll never part with her! My girls love her. They were picked as students of the month at day care (4 years old) and the pics they chose to put up in class were of them holding her. I promised Rosie would never go away.

I just got 12 BR chicks, but want some others lol. Did I see that you hatched some LC Orps? If so that's great! I think I'm gonna try to find some Marans or EE/Olive Eggers for the crazy eggs. I will be back over your way in April. Maybe you can point me in the right direction. Or I could compromise with a crazy Orp to go with my 2 English Blacks.
