calling any one from missouri

lol oh thats right byrdsfest is in ozark arkansas// sometimes I confuse the specifics, I have too much fun :lau // Happy Schwag!

I just got rid of several chickens and at the moment I only have a pair of salmon faverolles, a pair of buff orpingtons, 2 gamehens, and a welsummer pullet
I have never been to Byrdsfest... I'll have to check into it!

it's very similar to schwagstock, smaller, all the same bands and a lot of the same people go. I only went to the first couple and it just wasnt the same but I am thinking about trying again, I know they just had to find there groove. There is one in just a week or so and if I get my jeep fixed by then i'm going.

I haven't lived around here for about twelve years, I just moved back. Are there any other festivals worth checking out fairly close?

I plan on attending the upcoming Baker Creek Spring Planting Festival because I hear that they have some pretty good bluegrass.

@MotherOfPeepPeeps Nothing that is as chill as Zoe was, there are some rainbow gatherings that are around. Ozark arkansas hosts a bunch of festivals throughout the year, a lot are more commercial. they just had the backwoods music festival last weekend and my ex really enjoyed it despite the rain. the schwag play in rolla every once in a while, free shows even.

I havent gone to the Bakers creek thing yet but I would like to, I planned on it last year but time got away from me.

What kind of chickens do you have? :)

I have 9 36 week old RIR pullets. I'm planning on getting a few Cinnamon Queen females from Cackle later in the summer when I'm ready to house them. I have a lot to do to convert the garden shed from a junk holding place to a proper coop. I had a Barred Rock cockerel but had to send him to freezer camp as he was just too aggressive to people.

I have not ever tried Cackle Hatchery yet. Have you bought from them before? Did you have good luck with them?
