calling any one from missouri

I've got taller hens to lure next to the irises. The rooster's white tail is all dirty from going under the truck, so he's not allowed to pose.
If my camera would cooperate. . :barnie
It's a Canon power shot. .not a cheap camera. But it still doesn't like to focus on moving objects. . like birds.
And no way is my phone camera taking a good enough picture.

Caught me rat of the pack variety in the shed side of the coop/barn/shed .... and today’s irises pics:

I noticed in the Flowers and Fowl contest, some people used cut flowers to stage a photo....

So this morning as I walked by the bluebird house one of the little birds fledged and tried to land on a smaller iris... it broke off though and it landed on a rock, before trying again and getting up into a tree

But the broke off iris gave me the thought to try to stage a photo with some cut flowers and a chick... it wasn’t cooperating and this is about as good as I got... maybe I’ll try again when I have more time
