And of course, the multiflora is blooming profusely.....

These were from Easter. . at my parents house. They have been growing this lilac bush for several years. . .this is the first year it has bloomed.
Lilac is my favorite scent in the whole world. . a close second would be honeysuckle.
Never mind the allergy attack I will have after standing there huffing totally worth it.

I’m in Illinois at the moment so I shouldn’t be on this thread.... so don’t tell on me ...

But I stopped by a family member’s house this morning and they had a big multi floral on their fence climbing up a mimosa tree.... and it smelled really good.... almost enough for me to rethink killing everyone I see on our place....almost

We just planted a lilac this year... some sorta newer variety that’s supposed to stay a bit smaller ... but i agree it’s hard to beat a lilac for smell good factor....
